Terms and Conditions
Effective date: July 10, 2016
Free Online Checkup: PC Nerds Of America LLC offers a free online checkup service at no cost to (you) the client.
Free Repair Estimate: PC Nerds Of America LLC will always provide you with a free repair estimate (via email or verbally over the phone) for final repair costs. Once the estimate for repair costs is approved by you, PC Nerds Of America LLC will proceed to schedule a repair at a rate previously discussed and agreed upon. All repair estimates are valid for up to 30 days.
Payment: PC Nerds Of America LLC will request an authorization for the full amount of the repair to be placed on a valid credit card prior to or during the support session. PC Nerds Of America LLC may also send the client a payment request for any repair costs in the form of an invoice payable in full by a valid credit card or check within 7 days (NET 7).
No-Fix No-Fee: If a successful repair is not possible or you are not happy with the repairs performed by PC Nerds Of America LLC you will not be charged any fees.
Accepted Forms of Payment: Payment for service(s) may be authorized or secured by using a valid credit card, check or cash prior to, during, or after a remote support session.
Late payment fee(s): All un-paid invoices past due 7-days will be assessed a 5% late fee compounded every 7-days.
Time to complete repair(s): Although PC Nerds Of America LLC will make every attempt to complete all repairs in a timely manner, troubleshooting issues may be a time consuming process and you will only be charged a flat rate previously discussed and agreed upon and not by the time required to complete the repair. If PC Nerds Of America LLC is requested or required to conduct further research on a specific issue in order to complete the repair, you will not be billed for this additional research time.
Additional assistance and recommendations: PC Nerds Of America LLC reserves the right to recommend another computer repair service or company if the troubleshooting requires the assistance of another computer repair service or company to assist with the completion of the repair. You can optionally contract with the other computer repair service or company separately. You may be billed separately by the other computer repair service or company. PC Nerds Of America LLC will not be held responsible for the repairs performed by the other computer repair service or company.
Software used during repair(s): PC Nerds Of America LLC may install any program(s) required to assist with the troubleshooting or repair of your computer. Some programs do not work on all computer systems. If PC Nerds Of America LLC installs a program for you and you have problems with it, PC Nerds Of America LLC will uninstall it at no additional charge, but will not give continued support on the product. Regular repair and support rates will apply.
Loss of data: You certify that you will indemnify and hold harmless PC Nerds Of America LLC for any and all data or software that may be lost or erased, as well as for any consequence of the erasure or loss of that data or software. Although PC Nerds Of America LLC will take every precaution to preserve all data and software on the computer, you acknowledge that occasionally erasure or loss of data or software will occur and the operating system may be compromised and rendered un-useable.
Backup prior to repair(s): Due to the requirements of the repair, it is strongly recommended that you back-up your data and documents prior to the repair.
Backup training available: If you require training in backup methods and procedures, PC Nerds Of America LLC will provide that training to you at an additional flat rate of $49 plus any additional costs to cover optional back-up software, service(s), and/or hardware. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless PC Nerds Of America LLC for any and all hardware or software malfunctions or accidents that may occur before, during or after work is performed on Client’s computer, and for any results thereof.
Virus Removal: You also certify that you will indemnify and hold harmless and will pay for added support to PC Nerds Of America LLC for any software repairs necessary after a virus has been detected and removed off a computer. Viruses in a computer can cause many problems, PC Nerds Of America LLC cannot control what or how the virus affected the computer before or after the removal.
30 Day guarantee on virus/malware removal: PC Nerds Of America LLC has a 30 day guarantee on virus/malware removals. If within 30 days you suspect you have an instance returning, please call PC Nerds Of America LLC: 888-253-8606 immediately. If after 30 days and you have a returned infection, we will discuss what antivirus or antimalware service/products you purchased and decide on the best level of support. There is no guarantee or warranty that a virus will never get through any product either purchased by PC Nerds Of America LLC or any other brand you buy online or off the shelf.
Confidentiality Agreement: Any private information stored on your computer or viewed by a support specialist(s) at PC Nerds Of America LLC during a remote support call will be held confidential unless required by law. Any private or personal information provided to PC Nerds Of America LLC will be kept confidential.
72-hour guarantee on all repairs (3 business days): If you believe that PC Nerds Of America LLC was unable to solve your problem or do the work that we promised to do, you may contact PC Nerds Of America LLC for a refund of any fees that you have already paid for such deficient technical support services. We will refund fees provided PC Nerds Of America LLC receives your request within seventy-two (72) hours (3 business days) after the completion of the deficient technical services. PC Nerds Of America LLC also provides up to 72-hours (3 business days) of no-charge phone, Live-chat, and remote support after each repair. PC Nerds Of America LLC reserves the right to request additional information from you, or reject the request for a refund, if PC Nerds Of America LLC reasonably believes that a refund request is abusive.
PC Nerds Of America LLC may occasionally modify these terms and conditions. If we make changes to these terms and conditions, we’ll notify you about any changes, either by posting an update on the PC Nerds Of America website (https://www.pcnerds.us/remote-support-terms-and-conditions/) or by sending you an email. New versions of the terms and conditions will never apply retroactively and we’ll tell you the exact date they go into effect. If you keep using PC Nerds Of America LLC services or our website (https://www.PCNerds.us) after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
Refund Policy (for Goods)
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can either return your order for a full refund or exchange it for something else. You can return or exchange your purchase for up to 3 days from the purchase date.
Returned or exchanged products must be in the condition you received them and in the original box and/or packaging. After the 3rd Day, ALL Goods must go through the manufacturer for warranty exchanges.
A 30% Re-Stock Fee will be added on returns of NEW PC, Macs, Phones, and Tablets.
All refurbished Computers, Phones, Tablets and parts are sold AS-IS NO Returns,
NO Returns on ANY Software, PrePaid Services & Devices.
Refund Policy (for Services)
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, within 24 Hours from the Pick-Up date, we will fully refund the cost of your service order.
VirusRemoval/Cleans are nonrefundable after this device has left the store
NERDLINK SERVICE PLANS ARE NON REFUNDABLE.
Monthly & Yearly Plans Disclaimer:
PC Nerds Of America LLC begins billing the Client on the first day of services. This date will be the renewal date, as well. Services shall be automatically renewed in the selected billing terms unless it is formally terminated via writing or e-mail. Termination request must be delivered thirty (30) days before desired termination date. Rejected payments from the selected payment method may result in PC Nerds Of America LLC terminating the service immediately. In case of termination or expiration, the Client is required to immediately cease use of licensed content. All rights will return to PC Nerds Of America.
